Rare Vintage Audemars Piguet Royal Oak medium with the reference BA66048 in 18k yellow gold. This AP has an Audemars Piguet quartz calibre and is on the original AP bracelet in 18k yellow gold with the original folding clasp in 18k white gold.
The first highlight I would like to mention is the stunning unpolished original condition of the watch. The most Royal Oak's from the 70s and 80s are either heavily worn or have been polished a few times. But the shown example is in a really nice condition and was only worn on special occasions, a real "safe queen"!
Besides the condition the beautiful "tropical" dial is also a highlight of the watch, which will turn more and more into a wonderful brownish tone as time goes on.
