Extremely rare Piaget suitcase by Pinel & Pinel made of high-quality leather and elaborately finished. This suitcase is a special production for Piaget itself, the original price for a presentation case like the one shown is today between €10,500 and €12,500 excluding tax. The dimensions are: height 26 cm x width 23.5 cm, with a total weight of over 4 kg. The condition of the suitcase is very good to as good as new, as it was only used once for an exhibition.
The inside of the suitcase is made of the finest aubergine-coloured leather and is just as perfectly finished as the rest of the suitcase. Two drawers for jewellery (rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) can be opened on the right and left of the case. As Frederic Pinel himself says, every piece of Pinel & Pinel jewellery is ‘a work of jewellery craftsmanship that embodies the highest level of skill and precision. From the drawing of the prototype to the completion of a finished product, up to 1,300 hours of work are required.’
