Very rare Piaget Beta 21 with reference 14101 C 10 in 18k yellow gold with original gold bracelet and jewellery clasp in 18k yellow gold. The reference 14101 is the jumbo version of the Rectangle à L'Ancienne model line, characterised by the large, stepped and rectangular case measuring 41 x 33 mm.
This huge case houses what is probably the most legendary quartz calibre of all time, the Beta-21 calibre, which was developed in a project involving many different manufacturers under the name ‘Centre Electronique Horloger’. The largest and best-known watch manufacturers such as Patek Philippe, Rolex, Omega and IWC were involved. Once you have the watch on your wrist and feel the immense weight of approx. 212.9 grams, you realise the power and presence of this watch.
This version has a gold-coloured champagne dial with hour indices, which really enhances the look of the watch, especially in sunlight. The 14101 was only produced around 300 times in yellow gold, and the version with a screw-down yellow gold bracelet is even rarer than the leather strap version. The ‘C 10’ behind the normal reference 14101 indicates that the watch was delivered with a gold bracelet!
If you take a look at the case back, you will find the very raised gold hallmark, which is an indication that the watch has only been professionally and carefully refurbished once at Piaget. The watch comes with the following accessories: original Piaget box - Piaget service invoice from 2004 - sales receipt and watch passport from Juwelier Wohltmann from 2005.
This item is directly available. The sale of this Watch is subject to differential-taxation according to §25A UStG (Value Added Tax Act).
