Rare Vintage Movado Super Sub Sea Datron HS 360 with the reference 434-705-501 / 434-705-501-13 in steel. The watch is powered by the Movado automatic calibre 3019 PHC (based on the Zenith automatic calibre 400 El Primero). The watch is fitted with the original Movado steel bracelet with a folding clasp, manufactured by Gay Frères – featuring MC endlinks. The folding clasp shows minor damage to both hooks used for fastening, which should be repaired, however the clasp can still be closed and the watch can be worn thanks to the safety catch.
This Super Sub Sea features a beautiful Tropical dial, due to environmental factors over the last 50 years, it has taken on a brownish tone – the beauty of the dial really comes into its own under natural light! It is in an unpolished and good condition, with the usual signs of wear for it's age. This Movado comes with the original warranty certificate (sold on 22nd March 1973 by A. Türler & Co. at Airport Kloten / Zurich - Switzerland) and a Zenith service invoice from 2000. With its original Gay Frères bracelet and warranty certificate, this Movado is a real dream for any discerning vintage enthusiast and collector!
