IWC rare Yacht Club II 3012 Papers + invoice 1982 unpolished Steel

€ 7,850.00

Rare Vintage IWC Schaffhausen Jumbo Yacht Club II with the reference number 3012 in steel sold in 1982. This watch is powered by the IWC quartz calibre 2405, the battery has been replaced and it runs perfectly.

This reference, which is the first version of the Yacht Club 2, was only produced for a short time between 1977 and 1978. The Yacht Club shown here bears the serial number: 2255xxx. The diameter of reference 3012 is 38 mm, making it the so-called ‘Jumbo’ version. Like many other legends of horology, the watch was designed by Gerald Genta and is reminiscent of its big brothers, such as the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak or the Patek Philippe Nautilus, every time you look at it. However, both in terms of price and in the eyes of collectors, the Yacht Club flies well below the radar of Gerald Genta's other icons!

The design is perfectly complemented by the white dial with Roman indices. This IWC is in a very beautiful and unpolished original condition. The set of this IWC is also a collector's dream, with the original IWC certificate (sold on 11 June 1982 in Switzerland) - original purchase invoice - IWC International guarantee booklet - plastic folder.

This Item is directly available. The Sale of this Watch is subject to differential-taxation according to §25A UStG (Value Added Tax Act).
